DID YOU KNOW...

Approximately 23.5% of New Jersey's population are children under the age of 18 and 15.4% of those children ages 10-17 are considered obese.

The obesity rate in NJ's children is 18% (the highest nationwide)

A disproportionate number of children under 18 are diagnosed with "adult" diseases like high blood pressures & diabetes is related to their being overweight.

Kids today aren't as active as kids were in my days.   Back then there was no Internet or cable TV.  We played outdoors.  We skated,  we engaged in games like kickball, leapfrog and we jumped rope.  Kids today sit down a lot and play games on their Smartphones.  They have more energy in their thumbs than in their entire bodies!

The reasons above are what motivated me to create my Fitness & Fun Program.  Besides, I love teaching and working with children.  That's my passion!

My Fitness & Fun Program teaches children the benefits of good health in a way that's easy for them to comprehend and that's also fun.  Physicians and fitness experts agree that jumping rope is the single best exercise for kids.

Jumping rope - improves cardio & coordination, tones muscles, burns calories and its even been shown to aid in brain development.  Above all  --- kids LOVE it!

My Fitness & Fun program includes: 

dance-aerobics, hoola hoops, trampolines, nutritional overview and of course jumping rope!
